a)  no, the largest group, Australians, make up less than 50% of the population, thus, there is no single majority ancestry in Australia.
b) Australians are the largest group, Indians are the smallest group of the top 10.
c+) it most closely resembles the UK one, due to the disproportion between the top ethnicities, and the lower ones, with the two top, English and Australian, making up approximately 70% of the Australian population, with the other 8 ethnicities sharing the remaining 30%
where as in the UK, it is not divided by ethnicity as accurately, and all white people are combined into one category, which makes up 87% of the population, with all the other ones sharing the remaining 12.5%
(If we were to combine all white nationalities in Australia, we would end up with a very similar statistic for Australia, as all the top 6 ethnicities of Australia are considered white.)

d+) the ancestry of Australia is mainly European, with non-Europeans making up as little as 5% of the population.
It is hard to compare Australia to other nations, due to its history, but it is within reason, considering it is a former European colony.

It is also worth noting that most of the non-Europeans in Australia, are from nations that have been either wholly, or partially, under British rule in the past.
